Everyday shade sails - designed for smaller spaces

Small size shade sails are versatile and can be used in various outdoor spaces to provide shade and protection from the sun. The size of a shade sail can vary considerably, and smaller options are suitable for patios, balconies, small gardens, or specific areas that require targeted shading.

The Everyday range of shade sails from Coolaroo has been designed to make the most of a bespoke fabric which both light weight (205 GSM), but at the same time very strong and durable. Coolaroo (and its parent company Gale Pacific) are one of the worlds leading manufacturers of HDPE shade cloth, and in fact invented the material in the 1970's. Coolaroo are consistently developing their fabrics to create lighter fabrics that retain their market leading UV block without compromising on strength and longevity.

As with all Coolaroo shade sails, they offer market leading UV protection which will last many years. The Everyday range are endorsed by the Cancer Council of Australia in recognition of the outstanding, proven UV protection they offer.

Using a lighter weight fabric makes installation as easy as possible as not only is the fabric easier to carry and manipulate, but the relatively light weight of the fabric puts less stress on the fixing points. As the Everyday range of shade sails are not only light, but also relatively small, they do not have the same surface areas of the Commercial range and therefore do not catch as much wind as larger shade sails.

The Coolaroo shade sail ranges - Everyday vs Commercial

Gale Pacific created the original modern shade sail in the 1970's, specifically as a result of a government drive in Australia to reduce the number of people suffering from skin cancer.

Since that time Gale Pacific have continued to be the worlds leading innovator and manufacturer of shade cloth, with its subsiduary Coolaroo having been created to market the groups own brand of products created from their market leading HDPE fabrics including shade sails, outdoor blinds and elevated dog beds.

Coolaroo Australia has two main ranges of shade sail, the Everyday range and the Commercial range. While both voast market leading performance and UV protection, they are aimed at slightly different markets and budgets. All Coolaroo shade sails have market leading 95% UV block giving the highest levels of UV protection, they are all UV stabilised (so will not fade or become brittle) and they all have superior resistance to mould and mildew. Every Coolaroo shade sail are manufactured to a high standard with reinforced edges and marine grade stainless steel fittings (d-rings) at each corner. They are designed to last many years even in the harsh Australian climate..

As you can see from the comparison above, both ranges share a great deal of similarities. The major differences are the length of the fabric warranty/durability and that the Commercial range uses much heavier fabric which has been designed for much larger areas.
