2: Formation of the contract and orders

• Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are those displayed at checkout.
• Any delivery charges are shown before an order is confirmed.
• VAT is not applicable. www.sail-shade-boutique.co.uk is operated from Switzerland as an independent business (Canton of Vaud 1644894-30 / CHE-389.582.350).
• Prices may change, but the price shown when an order is placed is the one that applies.

• All offers are subject to availability.
• Product descriptions, images and dimensions are provided for guidance to assist purchasing decisions.

• Any validated order implies acceptance of these terms.
• The contract of sale is formed once the order has been accepted and the goods dispatched, subject to statutory cancellation rights.

3: Payment

• Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
• If invoice or bank transfer is offered, payment is expected within 14 days unless otherwise agreed.

4: Delivery and receipt

• Goods are delivered to the address provided by the buyer at checkout.
• If an order cannot be supplied in full, we will contact you to agree the next steps.
• Please inspect parcels on receipt and notify us promptly if there is visible damage.

• Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
• Where external factors cause delays, we will make reasonable efforts to assist.

• If a product is incorrect or faulty, please contact us within 14 days of receipt.
• Please include your order reference and a brief description of the issue.
• If a return is required, we will provide return instructions before any item is sent back.
• Return shipping is normally paid by the buyer unless we agree otherwise.
• Orders delivered within the UK are supplied on UK delivery terms. We hold stock in the UK, and occasionally an item may be dispatched from another warehouse to maintain availability. This does not affect your consumer rights for UK deliveries.

5: Right of withdrawal

• Custom-made or clearly personalised products are not eligible for cancellation or return.
• For standard products delivered in the UK, consumers have the right to cancel within 14 days of delivery.
• Returned items must be unused, uninstalled, complete, and returned in the original packaging in a fully resaleable, as-new condition.
• Items that have been installed, tensioned, test-fitted, or handled beyond normal inspection may be refused or accepted subject to a deduction reflecting any loss in value.

6: Retention of title

• Products remain the property of Brendan Collis until payment has been received in full.

7: Guarantee

• Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
• Some products are supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty, the duration and terms of which vary by product.
• Please contact us before returning any item under warranty so the correct procedure can be confirmed.

8: Applicable law

• It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure products are suitable for their intended use and installation.
• We are not responsible for delays or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including transport disruption, strikes, or force majeure.

9: Data privacy

• Personal information collected during an order is used solely to process and support that order.
• You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data by contacting us via the website.
• We use two first-party cookies on this site. The first is a strictly necessary session cookie (e.g. PHPSESSID) required to operate the site securely. The second is a consent cookie (SBUK_consent) that records dismissal of the cookie notice for approximately six months. Neither cookie is used for advertising or analytics.
